Kwik Paint has a complete line of both low and high temperature masking films. Low temperature materials are used for applications where a "wet pull" takes place and the plastic masking is removed prior to oven bake. Both high density polyethylene and cling film can be utilized for this process. High density film is available in widths from 6" to 48" and can be dispensed on a masking machine or apron taper with the use of tape. Cling films are available from 12" to 80", it sticks to the surfaces on it's own and is excellent for covering large areas quickly with minimal taping requirements.
High temperature masking materials are now available eliminating the need to "wet pull" in the spray booth. This method of operations eliminates the manpower required to de-mask in the booth as well as the the possibility of wet-mar defects. High temperature polypropylene films are designed to withstand temperatures up to 325 degrees F.
- High temperature film (goes thru oven) comes in various size widths.
- Low temperature film (non-oven) comes in various widths.
